Each Scar & Ko piece is ethically sourced and meticulously hand-stitched by the artisans of Jaipur, India. The special technique used comes with rich tradition which can be traced back to the Fifth Century B.C.

The designs that you see on Scar & Ko pieces are created with individual, hand-carved wooden blocks. The artisans carve each design into the blocks. This process can take several hours, or even days depending on the detail in the design.

Every print is hand blocked using an eco-friendly, non-toxic vegetable dye. This means no synthetics are used which can cause skin irritation. This process requires precison, skill and patience, giving Scar & Ko pieces thier individaulistic charm.
